Obviously, then they’ll set up a pre-screening checkpoint you need to pass in order to get to the TSA checkpoint.

I like the way you think. I would love to see a series of very specific “credible” threats that only target congested security checkpoints around the country due to the high concentration of “captive innocents”.

Since the question in the thread title seems to be rhetorical, and in any case requires speculation, this isn’t really suitable for GQ. However, since it’s unclear whether the OP intends this as a debate, or a criticism of the TSA, it’s not obvious whether it is more suitable for GD or the Pit. Therefore I’ve closed it.
