Funny, I was just discussing Israel with some people and one of them brought this up. Personally, I think it doesn’t matter. Israel should just dump both gaza and the west bank and let them figure it out. Although I agree that 3 states are looking more realistic.
Even if this were true, you can’t unmake an omelet son. Things are what they are - the Israeli Jews are not going to decide to relocate to Kamchatka to suit your skewed notion of what’s expedient.
Maybe if we gave them the whole of the U.S. Pacific Coast - San Francisco has to have better weather than Tel Aviv. But then I might have to learn Hebrew and I hear those Semitic languages are tough. I wasn’t even any good at French.
Just so this thread isn’t a complete waste, an early Pere Ubu song.

Except people already live there. That’s back to square one.
The best location for a Jewish homeland would have been the Baltic coast of Germany and Poland.
Whether you agree, Facts, will depend on just what kind of Jew hater you are.
The Siberia suggestion is funny. If you were in charge of the relocation effort, would the Jews you put on trains actually make it to Siberia? Or would they “get lost” along the way?
Um, excuse me, number one, I’ve been told there are supposed to be no personal attacks.
Secondly, “my kind” is people who DON’T hate and who everyone want to live in peace. There’s no peace in the middle east because a bunch of neo-con warmongers decided they’d displace a bunch of Muslims. I am wondering how we can fix that historical error.
I am looking for solutions, but you obviously have none.
However distastefull his wording (final solution :(!), the current situation isn’t exactly peachy. I have no idea what is meant by ‘stopping this experiment’ but we do have a situation where two groups of people want the same land - and in my opinion both claims have some merit - and are killing each other.
I for one don’t see an easy solution given that both feel very strongly about the exact same piece of land; is there a viable two or three state solution that both sets of people will agree to? I don’t know, but it would be awesome if we could find one.
His wording is beyond distasteful, and one of his “solutions” is an insult(Siberia??). If this conversation must continue, it might be best to start over with a stronger and less insulting OP, because I think this one has pretty much poisoned the well.
And how many Arab nations have attempted a military solution and failed? Looks to me like they want to complain but lack the will and military competence to do anything about the situation.
