Right before the Board decided to fry this afternnon, Cluricaun posted a question about what would happen to his bank account after he died.

Then there were about five threads spun off, all with no posts.

Then the mods deleted all the threads with no posts, including the OP.

Let’s reboot. Assuming there are no joint owners, and no heirs to Cluricaun’s estate, what will happen to his bank account?

If there’s no will and no relatives to inheirit then his estate will be liquidated and the proceeds added to the general fund of his state of residence.
