I mean is there a thread where people know each other and just gab about anything and possibly act stupid…?
Hard to see us coming.
We shall fight Dick Bastardlies as if there there were no Bibermans and fight Bibermans as if as if there were no Dick Dastardlies, if I may paraphrase. As you know, this may be dangerous. I can’t think of any other way to cure the Folie à Deux that pervades the relations between Israel and the rest of the world.
So you are truly Spanish.
From Chicago? :dubious: I’d say more like this.
I’m an idiot. I didn’t make the connection with La Furia Roja - The Red Fury. I looked for a red smiling bull. Also shows my total incompetence with the NBA.
But that’s a quote for you:
“Football is a sport where you play eleven against eleven, and eventually in the end Spain wins”
The Allied occupation of Germany and Japan was illegal? (Heck, we’re still there today!)
Military occupation of land that doesn’t belong to you is not only legal, its conduct is explicitly described and proscribed in the 4th Geneva Convention.
If it is proscribed, that would make it illegal (for signatories).
This is a good example of my point. For example, the US militarily occupied Japan after World War II and the occupation continues to this day. Do people like Dick Dastardly assert that this is “illegal”?
Of course not.
Are people like Dick Dastardly able to point to a general principle of law against “occupation”? Of course not.
Heck, they are unable to set forth a principled approach for determining what land “belongs to” a state, entity or group of people.
It’s like I said – the definition of “illegal” depends on whether or not Israel is involved.
It’s pretty simple:
-
Policies and practices by Israel which negatively affect the Arabs are illegal.
-
Policies and practices against Israel are not illegal.
-
All other actions and policies are illegal if and only if they violate some law.
That famous quote belongs to Gary Lineker – 'cept he was speaking about the " Die Mannschaft." Can’t believe it now applies to our NT. Yet it actually does. Never thought I’d see the day.
That said, may we get back to bitter arguments? I’d hate to find a friend in you.
Wow, didn’t expect to find a reference to Gary Lineker in a discussion about apartheid. Summer of 1986 when you score a goal you’d yell Lineker; if you’d score illegal goal you’d yell Maradona
No, that was the aftermath of WW2. The basing arrangements America has now were freely entered into by a democratically elected government.
Even the motherfunking Israeli Supreme Court agrees that the West Bank is being held under belligerent occupation. Look it up. Maybe the Israeli Supreme Court don’t know as much about international law as you do or maybe they’re antisemitic?
Cite – legally demonstrate that there are such in place.
Hate the little cheating fuck to this day, though I admit he was one of the greats. But I also consider Pele, the best of best.
That said, both are totally pro-Palestinians. So there is more to them than their abilities on the pitch. A consciousness
I am hoping that this was a typo, (since you spelled his name correctly later in your post), but you will be very careful to not make the same error in this forum in the future.

Cut the kid some slack. He’s new.
That which is allowed in occupation described, that which is prohibited is proscribed.
