This guy is building a model Boeing 777 out of manila envelopes. Insane attention to detail. Why manila envelopes? Good question. This guy is some kind of master model builder.
He is beyond a master model builder. I would need a complete crew just to build the model.
Maybe he just wanted to push the envelope.
“Honey are you going to mow the lawn this weekend?”
“I’m on it!
Let’s see where did I leave the tweezers and pinking shears…”
Dude has a shit-load of Humalog insulin!
Or maybe he just hangs on to the vials after he uses them. They look empty in one shot.
That is very cool, but I contend that the most wonderful model I’ve ever seen is this!
Clarkson gets quite giddy about it.
It appears his decision to drop out of college to complete his model was perhaps not the wisest career choice:
Those sort of jokes need to be stamped out.
Before someone goes postal.
I’m glad you could be so frank.
There is some awful part of me that just wants to stomp on that thing. I understand the incredible labor and talent that went into building it, but still…crunch!
I don’t understand why there’s such a big flap about all this.
It’s all in the delivery.
From the perspective of this not-quite master model builder, I just view the thing as a stunt. It would be a lot better to make it out of plastic and/or metal. It would be easier and it would actually look like a plane when it was done (it could be painted and decaled) rather than what it is, a manilla folder.
*This *is a master model:
It’s definitely impressive, although I do have to ask the question ‘Why?’ with respect to the material he’s using, and the level of detail.
I mean, there HAS to be a better way for this guy to spend his time; this seems like it could be mentally ill in some way.
Manilla envelopes? Air India? Shouldn’t it be decaled as a Philippine Airlines plane?
Which was first class.
Actually, manilla file folders.
Pretty cool, but this model is truly amazing, as posted by Novelty Bobble: a working, scaled Ferrari 312 PB. The builder made the 100cc flat-12 fuel-injected engine. The builder made everything, but the tiny engine is remarkable.
