Some gun stuff.

Gun stuff. I just ordered a cheap BSA Red Dot scope for my Weirauch HW40PCA air pistol.

Yep. Me, I think I’m gonna with until the old gets senile. When I take away his BMW, I’m gonna grab his Citori Lighthing. And his Beretta Gold Pigeon. And his Winchester 21.

Speaking of the .17 HMR, didn’t Ruger make a few MkII’s in that caliber just a couple years ago? I’m think that should prove to be a very collectible pistol.

Hah! I’ve got one of the originals stashed away - in 12 ga; the 10 gauge guns are more collectible, though, so I’m told. Belonged to my Grandfather’s dad. He traded a squirrel dog and a couple bushels of corn for it in the early 1890’s.

I think those were in the .17 MII, not the .17 HMR. .17 MII never took off like the .17 HMR, I guess because it costs nearly as much and doesn’t produce the same velocity. It’s sole virtue is that it can be used in weapons designed for .22lr with just a barrel swap. (And a heavier recoil spring if you are using it in an autoloader)
