I’d love a voice chat kind of thing, that dopers could go in and out of. Any chance of that any time soon… and if not, any subsitutes?
You could always set up your own TS or Vent server and invite 'dopers in to chat. I can’t see the 'dope officially building something like this, though I guess the movers and shakers of the board will be in to give their own take on it. Personally, I prefer the medium as it is, i.e. I like to chat with my fellow 'dopers in a once remove form of posting and reading. 'Dopers arguing with each other via voice chat would be, IMHO, a nightmare…and I’d probably be one of the worst. :eek:
