Some one tell me how "Fight Club" ends, Please

I guess I’m noe of those “testosterone addled boys” that liked the movie. I liked it not for the fight scenes but for the view of society it portrayed.

Am I the only chick who loved this movie? Yes, it was violent, but so was Saving Private Ryan. Yes, it was an “I hate life” movie, but I went through that and can relate. It had dark humor, which I enjoy, memerobale lines (“I am Jack’s flaming bile ducts”, “You are not a unique and beautiful snowflake” etc.), and a base message, which you might have missed if you couldn’t get past the violence-which I can understand- that made sense to me (you are not what you own.) Anyway, what I’m saying is, don’t let the name fool you, the fight clubs they/he started aren’t the base of the movie, it’s a story of empowerment, discovering who YOU are, not what society makes you.

Sorry, I’ll get off the soap box now…

I liked it. I like movies that break out of the mold. But I agree that a twist ending does not make a movie great. The Crying Game was the most over-rated movie I can remember. Hated it.

I’m a chick who loved Fight Club. I loved the message of mankind as sheep (though the super cool music and a shirtless Brad Pitt added much to the movie).

A bare-chested Brad Pitt could NEVER hurt ANY movie rockgirl!

Sorry, my computer went wacky when I tried to fix my mistake. Sorry rockstar

First off, I’m a “chick” and I loved this movie. Second, he isn’t called Jack in the movie. He is listed in the credits as “narrator”. The whole “Jack” thing is because of the articles he found in the house where all the different parts of the body are discussed in the first person. One of them is something like “I am Jack’s spleen” or something. From then on, he makes sarcastic references based on that article… “I am Jack’s ________” Minor point, but one that bugged me and I had to mention it.

This “chick” loved it!!!

Me too, and not because of Brad Pitt. This sick puppy loves violent movies. I also loved American Beauty & Topsy Turvy. Being John Malkovitch was good, but I had to work to stay interested.

I thought it was the best film of the year, and it’s one of my favorite books. The scene where he kicks his own ass in his boss’s office is a classic.

Another part of the movie that I did like was Brad Pitt’s speech during the first fight club meeting. The “you are sheep” stuff… I almost, kinda wished I had watched that scene again.

I am Jack’s faulty Memory.
