Some questions about jell-o shots...

You mean like this?

Okay, I made them last night. I ended up with 168 shots altogether when I was done.

I did the fuzzy navel shots (orange and peach jello flavors with vodka), strawberry-banana daiquiri shots (strawberry-banana jello flavor with coconut rum), pina colada shots (pineapple jello flavor with coconut rum), and plain lime jello with vodka. I don’t know how they’ll taste, but they sure smelled good. And my grandma’s always told me that if something smells good, it probably tastes good, so we’ll see.

I used the speed-set method on the box. For each batch, I used two of the little boxes of jello (pineapple, strawberry-banana, orange, and peach; the lime was a big box), 1-1/2 cups of hot water, about 2 cups of alcohol. They smelled pretty potent, but who knows? It was late last night when I made them and early this morning when I checked them, so I haven’t had the opportunity to do a taste-test. They looked gorgeous though.

I didn’t plan the colors, but I ended up with the first half of the rainbow, which is pretty cool for display purposes (I live for display purposes). I wish now that I had done blue and purple, too…oh well, if these get good reviews, I’ll do that next time.

Someone told me that blue jello with apple pucker was really good. Has anyone ever tried to make jello shots with the pucker flavors?

…and I see that RetroVertigo has already addressed that… :smack:

I made delicious jello shots – for the first time in my life – earlier this week. Blue Jello with blue caracao. Mmm, nummy goodness. And they will give you a bit of a…not even a buzz, but something like it…but not get you drunk, not the way I made them anyway.

Do you suck very slowly, or chew them very fast?
