Something caught my eye in this article, see if you can find it.

Article from the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel.
There’s something that caught my eye in the article. First one to find it wins.

Go!

I’m guessing it’s the “5 pounds, 12 ounces of marijuana in a plastic container” part.

The amounts of marijuana don’t add up. Neither does the story at the apartment.

Nope.

Is it that the numnbers don’t add up?
The guy says he took about 4 pounds of pot with him, and he was reported to have that much on him.

But he also said there had been 12 pounds at the apartment. Even if you subtractt the four pounds he took from that, that leaves 8 pounds. But the police found 5 pounds 12 ounces. So either the guy doesn’t estimate well, or someone stole some before the cops go there, or else some police have grabbed a little bonus before locking it up in the Evidence Room.

Hmmm, police officer knocked on the door and it just swung open.

Handy, that. Allowing him to smell the marijuana and giving him time to “secure the premises” before a search warrant was put together. (Is that even legal?)

Also the part where the kid arrested at a hotel was all, “OMG, I have more drugs at home I didn’t even tell you about.”

The policeman entered the apartment to “secure the area until a search warrant could be obtained”?

Nope, although any of the answers you guys give is probably also correct, I’m looking for something very specific.

That’s very good and did raise my brow, but not quite what I’m looking for.

Or he sold some earlier. And Nope.

I think I know. The detective showed up at the apartment at exactly 4:20PM. I guess if you’re a cop, that’s a good time to know the people inside are probably smoking the reefer!

Wait, all this information was “according to the warrant.” Do they even put this kind of stuff in a warrant? Sounds more like a police report… I don’t know enough about this to say for sure, though.

The cop showed up at the guy’s house at 4:20.

:smack: Of course!

Ding, ding, ding…winner!!

Only a minute late.

I wonder if the author of the article took some liberty with the “time” the officers may have arrived at the residence…?

It’s really not that we finally have the answer to “5 p, 12 o of m in a p c”?

Figures an EvilHamsterOnCrack would know.
So who else besides me had to look up the significance of 4:20pm?
Figures, always the only one.

Or they were laughing about how they were about to bust some stoners and thought the best time to catch them in the act would be 420.

Add me to the list. I never heard of this.
