Song that you like that are about saying goodbye

The reason for goodbye are endless (growing apart, moving, a breakup, a fight, death, etc) and the people/places you say goodbye to are endless too (family, friends, job, town, etc).

But what songs do people listen to that are about saying goodbye? I know the choices are pretty long but what are people’s favorites?

I like

red ragtop - Tim McGraw

Photograph - Nickelback

Daniel - Elton John

Into the West
WOL*D
Cat’s in the Cradle
Taxi

Aaaand now I’m sad. Dammit, Harry…

Stars by Grace Potter. Very sad.

“Goodbye” by Jane Siberry

The happiest breakup song ever - Love Done Gone.

I can’t listen to The Seekers’ Far Shore without tearing up. Judith Durham has one of the most amazing voices ever. :o

Alma Mater – Alice Cooper

‘It Must Have Been Love’, by Roxette

Your Face Is Not Enough - 3 Blind Mice

nice piano driven pop music

Train In Vain - The Clash

There have been many versions of “I’ll Be Seeing You,” but this is one of the prettiest:

This is my favorite version of "You Belong to Me":
I think this one also qualifies as a "Good-Bye!" song:

Not goodbye to people, but Goodbye To Love

I Miss My Friend-Darryl Worley

“Saying Goodbye” from The Muppets Take Manhattan is pretty lovely.

Rebecca Go Home

“Last Goodbye” by Jeff Buckley

Here’s where I’m a buzzed pedantic shit:

Is WOLD really about saying goodbye? Seems it belongs more in a class with “Operator” and “Telephone Line”

Green Day’s Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)

Sure.

Time - Alan Parsons Project
