Wow over 100 posts and I get to add -
Sloppy Sue and Big Bone Billy - Rosalita(Come out tonight) - Springsteen
“They’ll be coming up for air”
Which I’ve always misheard as Slappy Sue and Big Balls Willy
Running Bear loved little White Dove
With a love big as the sky …
A number of popular songs from the 1890s-1910s do this:
“Willie Fitzgibbons, who used to sell ribbons
And stood up all day on his feet,
Grew very spoony for Madeline Mooney,
Who’d rather be dancing than eat…”
–“Waltz Me Around Again, Willie” (in the second verse she falls for Willie DeVere)
“On the old farmhouse veranda, there sat Silas and Miranda,
Thinking of the days gone by…”
–“Put on Your Old Gray Bonnet”
–The song “Yip-I-Addy-I-Ay” mentions Sally and Von Bellow.
“Every Saturday, Willie got his pay
Then he’d call for Nell…”
–“The Bird on Nellie’s Hat”
–Jimmy and Katy in “K-K-K-Katy”
–“I’ve Got Rings on My Fingers” features Jim O’Shea and Rose McGee
From an earlier time–anybody mentioned “Barbara Allen [and Sweet William]” or “Frankie and Johnny”? I don’t think I saw them on a cursory trip through the thread…
The song Lone Ranger by Quantum Jump (has the repeated phrase Taumatawhakatangihangakoayauo-Tamateaturipukakapikimaungahoro-Nukypokaiwhenuakitanatahu-Matakuaitenakuakauamikitora) has Tonto singing of his love for the Lone Ranger.
In the lyrics Tonto refers to himself (as in 'Me Tonto) and mentions the Lone Ranger who he also calls Kimosabi.

Wig Wam Bam by UK Glam Band The Sweet refers to both Minnie Ha-Ha and Hiawatha plus Running Bear and Little White Dove.

Moved up like George and Weezie - From Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It by Will Smith
That is if a nickname counts.
The Elton John song Captain Fantastic and the Dirt Brown Cowboy mentions both characters in the lyrics.

Davy’s on the Road Again by Mannfred Mann’s Earth Band references Davy and also Jean.

John Denver’s Darcy Farrow references Darcy and Vendermeer.
Tevye’s Dream - Tzeitel & Motel
Frank Mills - Frank Mills & Angela
Jimmy Loves Mary-Ann by Looking Glass
The Annoying Drummer Boy - Mary & Joseph
North to Alaska - George & Jenny
The second version of the theme from Gilligan’s Island mentions Gilligan and Maryann by name.
The Nanny’s theme song mentions “the Sheffield’s door” and “that flashy girl from Flushing, the Nanny named Fran.”
They aren’t really a couple, though. Whereas “the millionaire and his wife” are, but they’re not mentioned by name.
But now I’m wondering if there are other TV theme songs that mention, by name, characters who are a couple. The Jetsons theme song does. (“Meet George Jetson… Jane, his wife.”)
Someone mentioned Wig Wam Bam by Sweet. Yesterday in my Sweet playlist the following song was The Six Teens. Each verse talked about a different couple.
Julie and Johnnie, Suzie and Davey, Bobby and Billy.
(Now I am listening for couples and famous people)
Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer
I Was Jack (You Were Diane), a tribute to John Mellencamp’s titular couple.
