Yes; and they are good chills. I also got many chills the one and only time I heard his last, Blackstar. Not sure how soon I’ll be able to watch to video / listen to the song again.
Trouble by Cat Stevens
In a Very Unusual Way from the musical Nine
Drive by REM (and I’ve no idea why)
I don’t know how I almost forgot this one—Jeff Buckley’s cover of “Hallelujah.” The length of time he holds one note towards the end is astonishing.

… and I never even saw the movie
If you can find a link to the Boston Pops’ arrangement of Neil Diamond’s ‘Play Me’ (I couldn’t), give it a listen. Seriously. It’s soul-stirring stuff.
Meant to add: find the instrumental version without Neil Diamond, obviously.

Jason Molina doing what he does best, dark and haunting, trying at personal growth, pain, loss.
Came in here to post this. Despite being familiar with Dawes, I somehow only heard this a month or two ago. I’ve been listening to it a lot. Possibly the most affecting lyrics I’ve ever heard. In turns mournful, absurd, optimistic, and open. It’s life in a capsule.
So bittersweet, but that don’t mean it isn’t sweet.
Their song “Bear Witness” gets chills for me, too, but I’d be the first to admit that it’s a little more maudlin.
This is one that gives me a chill every time, and I’m not even religious.
Couple of others that give me a spine shiver every time

The ballad version of “Love Kills” (Queen):
The chill moment comes for me about 3:00. "It won't let go......."Idk why, but Linda Ronstadt’s vocal performance with Little Feat gives me chills and moves me to tears EVERY time I hear it.
I love this cover of Neil Young’s Don’t Let It Bring You Down by Annie Lennox. Those major/minor chord progressions get me every time.
“Timothy” by The Buoys used to give me the creepy chills when I was nine years old.
That song by Dawes…Wow. I listened to it at least three times last night.
Thank you for posting the link.
Best video to go with that song, for chills: Tarantino’s “putting on the warpaint” sequence in Inglorious Basterds, when Shosanna’s dressing, quite literally, to kill.
That’s one of my favorites.
Particularly haunting when combined with the misic video clip.
Into the West is indeed an excellent and spinechilling song. Especially the Annie Lennox version.
I was thinking of this song just a few days ago.
It’s a great song, but for an even more chilling telling of the Vietnam War experience, have a listen to Redgum’s A Walk in the Light Green(AKA I was Only 19).
I’ve mentioned this one before, but Crowded House’s *Hole in the River *is one of the most soul-wrenching songs I’ve heard.
This song left a real impression on me when I was young.
Chilling, but in a good way.
Tracy Chapman’s *Bang Bang Bang *quite literally moves me to tears. Perhaps more so than any other song.
The Wailin’ Jennys have a sound that reaches me on almost everything they sing, but their cover of One More Dollar always hits me hard … One More Dollar - YouTube
The other one, for different reasons, is this version of the Goo Goo Dolls “Sympathy”, three minutes that sum up a dark place in my life very well… Goo Goo Dolls- Sympathy - YouTube
