Songs that seem unfinished

I like the song Silent Lucidity but I hate the ending because it sounds like the singer should say “Silent Lucidity” one last time and he doesn’t and it grates on me.

In a similar vein, there is a car commercial out now that plays the beginning of “Lose Yourself” but it bugs me because it just plays the build up and never the pay off that is in the original song.

Anyone have any similar feelings?

I love Porcupine Tree, but their song “Open Car” towards the end sounds like its about to kick into overdrive for another 3-4 minutes, but instead after a couple of refrains it just peters out. Since they usually do exactly that on such occasions, it always leaves me a bit cold.
