What’s the rhyme there? All I can figure is that they split the line in the middle of the word:

I guess “Minne-ap’lis” (like “Indian-ap’lis”) sounds kind of like “green apples” if you stretch it a bit.

You mentioned Indian-ap’lis, but not Minne-ap’lis.
None of the city names in that are used as rhymes.
