Songs where the title is a city name

Not “songs with a city name in the title”! The title must be nothing but the name of a city. I will also allow city + state or city + country. So “I Love L.A.” or “St. Louis Blues” does not count, but “New York New York” does.

“El Paso” (Marty Robbins)

“Kansas City” (Lieber and Stoller)

“Bloomington” and “Champaign Illinois” (Old 97s)

“Birmingham” (Drive By Truckers)

“Copenhagen” (Lucinda Williams)

“Stockholm” (Jason Isbell)

“Galveston” by Glen Campbell

“Valparaiso” - Sting
“Gotham City” - R. Kelly

Atlantic City - Springsteen

Sorry, mine doesn’t count.

“Barcelona” - Freddie Mercury & Montserrat Caballé

“Vienna” - Ultravox

“Havana” - Camila Cabello

“Phoenix City” - Roland Alphonso

Baltimore – Nils Lofgren (written by Randy Newman)

Saginaw Michigan by Lefty Frizzel.

Katmandu by Bob Seger.

Vienna by Billy Joel

El Paso City a sequel to his signature song by Marty Robbins.

Durham Town by Roger Whittaker.

Seattle. Theme song to Here Come the Brides.

Washington DC - The Magnetic Fields

And somewhat of a reach, the traditional song 'Botany Bay, which was what Sydney was known as before it was established as a distinct place [Sydney’s official name was then ‘New Albion’, which was never used].

Would the OP count “Istanbul (Not Constantinople)”

According to Wikipedia, at least 8 different musicians have written songs titled “Chicago”.

“Jerusalem” - British hymn.

Also by Stephen Sondheim

West Covina from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

There’s also New York, New Yorkfrom On the Town.

San Francisco by Scott McKenzie

Hackensack – Fountains of Wayne
Mendocino – Sir Douglas Quintet

“Panama” by Van Halen technically qualifies. (The name of the city is just “Panama,” not “Panama City,” the same as the country. Also, the song is actually about a car, but the OP didn’t say the song had to be about the city.)

There are at least two called ‘Reno’.

“Memphis” : Chuck Berry, Johnny Rivers

Or the song that allegedly inspired it,
C-O-N-S-T-A-N-T-I-N-O-P-L-E- Paul Whiteman & His Orchestra

“Chicago” - Sufjan Stevens
“Jacksonville” - Sufjan Stevens

The Atchison, Topeka, and the Santa Fe. Three cities in one title!
