Songs that would sound better sped up %5-%10

Now, most of these entries in this thread will prolly be from the 70s, the era of stoner rock and radio stations that would play singles too fast to play more songs causing actual recordings to be too sped down, but all of these sounds would sound better if you just took the actual recordings and without any fancy studio technology, just sped them up between 5 and 10 percent. If Windows Sound Recorder had a Speed up by 10% option instead of double or half it would completely be sufficient:

– Paranoid, Black Sabbath
– Afternoon Delight, Starland Vocal Band
– Teenage FBI, Guided by Voices

The version from “Do the Collapse” or the original version? Because the latter is pop perfection as is…

Hmmm, not sure if it’s the original version, it’s the one on the Best Of, off a 1997 EP. Not saying it isn’t good, it’d just sound better sped up a tad.

Anything by the Chipmunks. That Alvin bums me out.

Slippery People - Talking Heads

MUCH better slightly faster

Speaking of which, it seems like “Swamp” was recorded slightly too slow as well…it wouldn’t sound better than way, the nastiness and sliminess is perfect, but it just dont sound normal!

U2 - Bad is a fairly slow song clocking in at 5:51 on the Best of album or 6:08 on The Unforgettable Fire.

Bad(Live) off Wide Awake in America is a rocking song with a much faster tempo that clocks in at 8:02.

The live (faster) version is my all-time favorite song.

The original version of “That Thing You Do”, by the Oneders.
