Aliotta, Haynes & Jeremiah had a local Chicago hit in the mid-1970s called Lake Shore Drive. One of the repeated lines is “Running south on Lake Shore Drive, heading into town”. In one of the verses, they add “Just slippin’ on by on LSD, Friday night trouble bound”. And later, "Just snaking on by on LSD, Friday night trouble bound.
