Kind of inspired by the comic book thread and the thread searching for deeper meaning in “Uncle Albert”.
Who amongst us hasn’t fancied himself having songwriting potential. Write just the right tune and you could make millions, he, it’s happened. (By the way if you really want to make millions, you’ll probably have to write a Christmas song. They play that stuff every year.)
My idea was for a song called “Three minute song” It would cut off mid-word at exactly the three minute mark.
Chorus: “It’s a three minute song, just a three minute song,
And it’s only gonna be…three minutes long.”
Verse: “We wanted to sing about injustice,
We wanted to make you jump and shout,
But the record company said we only got three minutes,
So we had to leave a lot of stuff out.”
That’s all I got.
