Who is Sony Ericsson and are they a low-end spinoff riding on the coattails of Sony’s reputation? Looking for any factual info, such as what consumer magazines say or what IT people or EEs know about the industry, specifically cell phones.
It seems Ericsson wanted to ride on Sony’s global coat tails and Sony is willing to risk their reputation on Ericsson’s technology with chips manufactured by Phillips out of a New Mexico plant.
