Well, the two-headed crone won the costume contest. And some guy who looked like a younger Brad Pitt won both the brownie and the chili contest. Something tells me he’s going to get a lot of attention from the single women around here. There are plenty of brownies left. I guess everyone is on a diet. The chili is all gone, though, except for the one with Spam.

I came in my Gothic Lolita duds today, though they are only temporary until I get my dress made. Anyway, it was good enough to win the costume contest at work today. W00t! mp3 player! I’ll post piccies later if anyone’s interested (of the costume, not the mp3 player).
I also may post up a thread about why some people seem to experience such extreme shock when confronted with a guy dressed like a girl, but I haven’t decided yet.

So I went with wearing a black *cheongsam * top with jeans and engineer boots. And black nail polish.
Coworker and his family came in for the trick or treating dressed as matching Cheeseheads. (You can tell where they hail from. :D) The rugrat is the cutest lil’ thang with his own foam cheese hat. Knee high ta me, and Ah’m not all thet tall, neither. Group “Awwww!” heah.

Speaking of, FARK has a costume pic thread going here that I was getting great amusement out of this afternoon. Some fantastic costumes, some crappy, some fantastically crappy.

I just wore my ceramic horns from the Ren. Festival - our hockey team coach cracked up when I walked in to the Coach’s Show tonight! On my way home I stopped for gas and a Deputy Sheriff did a double-take. Then it was my turn to crack up.
I just wonder why people keep saying “but they look so natural.”
It was pretty warm today, so I didn’t wear my get-up to work, but I changed into it later…
Pumpkin Lady: pumpkin hat, orange and black tights, pumpkin jewelry, black shoes and skirt and top; orange cream make-up on my face and a bit of black to make little pumpkins on the cheeks.
I had to do visa interviews yesterday, so I restrained myself to an orange silk tie and black dress shirt with tan slacks.
And my 18k white gold cufflinks made from my wisdom teeth.
Just got back from a clothing-optional resort for the weekend.
Me, my wife, and 3,000 of our closest friends were at the Halloween Party on Saturday night. Some of the costumes…unbelievable. Many of the peope…unbelievable.
My costume? Black and red wings that extended above my head about a foot and touched the floor. Black leather centurion sandals. Black leather g-string. Black spiked arm bands. Black leather Zorro-style mask. Bull whip.
I was actually dressed pretty tame compared to most. Fantsy Fest got cancelled this year and Key West due to the hurricanes, so everyone went to the resort instead.
