Sorting iPhotos by event

It’s been a long time since I’ve done any organizing of the photos that I have in iPhoto.

Today I was looking through them and kind of started sorting them by event. I sorted some into a miscellaneous event, some into a work event, but it really kind of stopped being about a dated event and more like I was sorting the events like subject-specific sub folders. But really, I should be sorting them into albums that I create, not events, right?

Yes, or just add keywords, then you can have the same photo appear in multiple groups.

Yes, or just add keywords, then you can have the same photo appear in multiple groups.

Yes, I have “adding keywords” to my rainy day project list. With over 7000 photos, that’ll be quite an undertaking.

Adding to albums might be my quickest drag/drop way to sort for now.
