Well this is my third thread in about 3 minutes but any suggestions on places to look for a movie from the 50s? I searched Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, Netflix and Amazon for The Secret of Convict Lake but no one seems to have it. Any suggestion? Thanks!
It doesn’t appear to have been officially released on home video. Google searching reveals at least one person selling a DVD-R of it, further discussion of which I believe is against board rules, since it’s not old enough to be in the public domain.
Apparently it’s not on video – there’s nothing in the “watch it” box, which would ordinarily link to a DVD or VHS if it were. (Didn’t there used to be a separate box indicating in which formats a movie was available?)
There’s a wonderful place here in Old Town Alexandria, VA called Video Vault. Check out their website. If they don’t have it, probably no one does.
