South Park 10.26

You know, I never made that connection. Although I also can’t remember an episode where Butter was referred to as “Butters Stotch” (which certainly didn’t mean it didn’t happen), and I was too busy reading his first name on the tombstone to see it in this one. And now I find myself wondering whether Butter’s dad is named “Hop”.

I also thought is was funny how mean those little girls can be to each other.

“Will I ever find true love?”
“No.”
:frowning:

I thought the girl asked if she was going to marry a really handsome guy. And the girl asked that question, it wasn’t pushed on her like Cartman’s “Will Kyle live to the age of 20?” Besides, the user followed the “rules” of using the fortune teller, without resorting to the “eeny-meeny-miney-moe” cheats*, so it was random.
*If you count ahead when doing Eeny-Meeny-Miney-Moe and see that an undesired person will be chosen, you can add words to your chant to extend it until you get someone you want - i.e., “My mother said to pick this one but…” and other similar phrases.

I think it was “will I marry a cute guy?”… not quite as noble sounding that way :stuck_out_tongue:

Seeing Butters dancing at the slumber party nearly made me pass out from laughter. That clip should be isolated and be available online.

After the boys elaborate plan of fake death for butters and enrolling Marjorine in school, the girls after being told of Butters untimely death all ask Butters who? Negatting the need to have his death faked!

that’s kind of the point

i loved how Margereen looked after the make over - and “would someone hand me a piece of paper so I can make a new one?”

Now, what “new talent” does Kenny have? that’s he’s become a pyrotechnician? I think he proved that in Bigger Longer Uncut.

Also - are we going to see what happens to Butters next? or will we see “everything back to normal” next week? I mean, come on. Leaving him in the basement with an oozing corpse…? They’ve got to bring it up again - after all we still occasionally hear about Cartman making “parent-chili”

Well this time he didn’t die, that would Qualify as a new skill.

I never saw that “future-telling” device when I was little – how does it work?

Exactly as depicted in the episode, really. I think I could still probably fold one up if pressed… Essentially it has a number of covered ‘answers’ - you pick one by some method and fold open a flap.

Hilarious episode. Drawn Together was good, too.

it’s an origami candy dish, with numbers on the outer flaps, colors on the inner (altho when I was in grade school, the colors were on the outer and numbers on the inner) - then on the very inside you write a bunch of answers akin to the Magic 8 Ball
It’s about as accurate a prognosticator as that toy was as well

Linky to make one

wow - did you google to find that? the internet is an amazing thing

Google great, google my best computer tool. Me google happily.
