South Park 11/09

Dammit. I really, really dislike Cartman (yes, I know that’s the point) and I was hoping, so hoping he’d get nailed this episode. Ah well. At least he got laughed at by Butters (that scene rocked!) and got beaten by Kyle (outstanding!).

An okay episode, but not the best.

Those silly kids, Kyle and Stan forgot they agreed to never piss Cartman off after they witnessed the Scott Tenorman, incident. They forgot their pledge and almost got most of the kids wiped out.
Kyle going overboard and releasing a lifetimes frustration with Cartman was the funniest Gag since Lemiwinks.

clydefrog “what are we doing tonight, eric?”
EC “same thing we do every night, ClydeFrog, Try to take over the world!”

There’ve been a few episodes where Cartman gets whalloped by someone - always makes me happy.
I would’ve like to see some brown roots starting to peak through on Cartman’s head in the last scene

And doesn’t whichever group-of-the-week he’s trying to eliminate always include Kyle?

It was one of the funnier episodes of south park I’ve ever seen. I wonder if his hatred for ginger kids has anything to do with Scott Tenorman though or if that was just a coincidence. And yeah, Eric has some real leadership qualities. I thought it was nice that Cartman’s response to a day’s worth of prejudice was to fight back instead of just lie back and take it like most people would.

Look at all the ginger successes the world has produce like…Ron Howard, and others.

I think Cartman’s hatred of Gingers simply comes from Trey and Matt’s Ginger prejudices.

Cartman’s hatred of ***everything ** * comes from Trey and Matt’s Ginger prejudices.

(:smack: oops - meant to delete the word “ginger” from my copy/paste - my bad :D)

I don’t think his hatred of the jews comes from Matt Stone…unless he’s one of those self-haters!

Well, Kyle’s a Daywalker…so even though he has red hair he was in the group for elimination.

Pretending?

(After all, this is the guy who simply could not understand the concept of guilt and remorse in the Toilet Paper/Silence of the Lambs episode.)

I miss the best ones, dammit.
Although I did see Scott Tenorman must die.

I want to be Eric Cartman when I grow up.

I’m a Daywalker and I’m proud!

The episode where he got beaten to a quivering pulp by Token was a good one.

There was a little SP behind the scenes special a year or two ago in which Parker and Stone said that Stan and Kyle were originally intended to little alter egos for Parker and Stone respectively, but as they started doing the show, “we realized that we were both really Cartman.”

I think even Butters got a in a hot in that episode.

hot = shot :smack:
