South Park 3/31

Okay, ths wasn’t bad. Enjoyed the topicality of medical marijuana. Weird though.

I thought it was ok. They ended the Cartman angle I felt a little too abruptly.

I did laugh way too much at the site of men bouncing on their balls down the street.

I thought it was fantastic. The Cartman line did end too quickly, but it was miles better than the other two episodes this season

Boing! Boing! Boing!

From now on if I ever see a protest of any sort (Tea Party, Anti-War, Hippies just doing what Hippies do, etc…) I will march around chanting, “What do we want? Wider Doors! Where do we want 'em? Weed stores!!”

I always enjoy episodes where Randy is extra douchey. I loved it when we was outside tanning, smoking, getting x-rays and had open cellphones taped to his head.

I loved the end.

“Is that a scrotum coat?”
“Lucky!”

It shrinks when it’s cold out.

They didn’t rip on the Pope nearly enough.

Honestly, I’m not sure how they top the Satan’s Sweet 16 episode where bishops just casually walk around with naked little boys on leashes.

I love it when South Park just goes totally absurd, and the testicular cancer plotline is maybe the most absurd the show’s ever been. What was that crazy music that was playing when the guys were bouncing around on their balls? Also loved the guy that said “That would be ridiculous” as all the ball-bouncing was going on behind him.

I believe that was from the old Hoppity Hop commercial from the 70s. (BTW, do they still make those? I used to have one.)

I agree that the “B” plot involving Cartman ended too quickly. I was expecting Cartman to go full-Tony Montana at the end but after setting it up. they only half-delivered on it. Maybe they figured a Scarface parody now would be too predictable and played out.

Wow, this show reached an all time low, and the moral message at the end didn’t even make sense. Loved the KFC subplot though.

All they had to do was have Cartman say, “Say hello to my little friend.” That would have been comedy GOLD.

While I generally find most toilet “humor” and bodily function “humor” to be tedious and unfunny, (last season’s finale “Pee” was absolutely horrible, one of the Worst…Episodes…Ever!) I actually enjoyed this episode, the whole “hoppity-hop” angle of the testicular cancer was absurdly amusing (especially with that “happy” synthesizer tune playing)

Cartman’s addiction to KFC was also rather amusing, especially when he was at the Methadone clinic jonesing for a “fix”, I was expecting a Tony Montana “Little Friend” line though…

The first ep this season, “Sex addiction” was meh…, second ep “Scrotie McBoogerballs” was equally underwhelming (I did like Butters finally standing up to the “Four Musketeers” thread though), hopefully, “Medicinal Fried Chicken” is the first of some even better episodes, it brought back some of the absurdities missing from the last few seasons

As a consolation prize, I give you this.

The ball-bouncing scenes were very cringeworthy. I was thinking for awhile that he would turn them into a Hoppity-Hop. So I guess Randy’s castrated now?

I loved this one! Too Funny! I’ve got a med marijuana license in CA, and the rules are different, but seriously, ANYONE can get one.

When Randy came out of the store pushing the wheelbarrow full o’ balls singing “Buffalo Soldiers…”, I had to pause it due to laughter.

Also when Cartman tasted the gravy and said, “This is Boston Market gravy!” was classic.

Yes, I smoked before I watched it.

I think you may have been mssing the point, which was almost that there was no moral message, except that everyone was being stupid everywhere the whole way through.
