IS anybody here familiar with the mythology of the ancient Vimanas? Supposedly there are stories of an interstellar battle of these ancient space ships over ancient India, and supposedly some ancient Indian texts describe instructions on how to both build them and operate them. Any debunkers out there? Any verifiers out there?
Modern fabrication (or “inspired text”, take your pick). Ancient references to vimanas are basically talking about flying chariots driven by Surya, the sun god (or a collection of divine characters in earlier texts). Occasionally there are references to flying palaces, which are generally taken to mean actual buildings.
