Try as I may I just can’t get this sauce to taste like it should or rather like the sauce in the local Italian Restaurant.
I’ve tried cook books, on line recipes and it still tastes completely bland compared to the Restaurant. This despite following instructions to the letter
Anyone out there got a fool proof recipe they’d care to give me?
In large saucepan over medium heat, cook turkey, onion, garlic, carrot, basil and jalapeno until turkey is brown. Pour in milk, reduce heat to low, and simmer until reduced by one-third. Stir in wine and reduce again. Pour in tomatoes and tomato paste and simmer 3 hours more.
