My ISP blocks about 80% of the spam to my account and my own custom filters block about 50% of the spam that gets through my ISP.

This leaves with about 10% of the spam sent to me that actually ends up in my inbox. I usually look for ways to block it by looking for certain key phrases like (make money on the internet). I have noticed that most of the spam that does work it’s way thought is spam that tells me to send out spam and make money.

Just had to point it out.

I guess, if nothing else, the folks who send you those spams have demonstrated that they’re better at getting past the spam-filters than all the other guys.
