A friend of mine just changed her email address. She sent one email to everybody, and some jackass cut and pasted all the email addies and spammed me (and everyone else). I hate getting email from people I don’t know.
So, in a fit of giggles (hysteric reaction on both our parts as symptoms of traumatic pms syndrome), Dylan and I are thinking of replying with the following email:

heheh wadaya think? Any better ones? We have a saved draft with our fingers hovering over the send button…
Cool, but – Professional spammers are unimpressed by threats and/or abuse (if it bothered them, they wouldn’t be spammers). All replies mean to them is that they have collected another nice, valid and salable e-mail address. Perhaps it would be better to teach your friend to use the blind copy function on her e-mail program.
No, definately not a pro. (I’ve had and am still having probs with pros) This is some jack ass frat brat promoting his own gig. Someone off the address list of the email.
My next email to her most definately will include instructions on how to blind copy.
