There are too many legitimate things you can do right now to just press the “forward” button and feel a sense of accomplishment. I know how powerless many feel in the face of this horror. But there are still things you can do. Even if you don’t have a dime to your name or cannot give blood, you can pray. And if you’re an athiest, you can meditate.
There is something that everyone can do, no matter how small. The relief workers, hospitals, police, firefighters, they need money and blood and volunteers and prayers and support. They don’t need glurge.
