It’s basically a vegetable broth, with garlic among one of the vegetables, and chunks of bread tossed in; we normally use old hard-crust bread and toss it in shortly before eating so it’s had time to get soaked but not to turn into tiny pieces of mush. Every cook I know uses different vegetables. Mom uses leeks and carrots.
Seem the problem is that you can’t get any really authentic Spanish Sausage here, outside of an occasional, Merquez, Cajun and Portuguese Boudin. The only chorizo we have in production is Mexcan, which is a long cry…
