Wondering if someone can tell me what this company does. It appears to me (because of the pictures) that they sell vegetables and are involved in construction. Yes? Anything more detailed there?
Well, not vegetables. Just sugar, flour and some whole grains it looks like.
Apparently, it’s a company that started out a while back as an industrial and construction supply company. They sold steel products, lubricants, etc. under the company name Casa Guerrero Hermanos.
Then they recently just branched out into the sugar and grains business. I’m not sure what the word insumos is - I’ve never encountered it before, but it has something to do with the baking industry, it could be equipment or ingredients, which may be how they got into the grains and sugar department.
If you read the page “Nuestra Marca,” it says that they have been selling grains and cereals for 10 years. Their logo or trademark is Don Nacho. This mark was apparently inspired by the character, love of family, hard work, honor and discipline of Don Ignacio Guerrero Barahona, their founder (I think he founded the business in 1950).
Some of their products include corn, lentils, sesame, seeds (I don’t recall what kind) and oats. They also distribute extra fine white sugar and brown sugar. Looks like, from their products page, they also distribute beans, flour, rice, and something else called polegia, but I don’t know what that is.
According to their page named Casa Guerrero, they’re also involved in the buying and selling of windows and construction materials, plus industrial grade lubricants and oils, and steel and ammonia. They also have experience in the bread-making industry.
So, yeah, it looks like you’ve read the page just about right if you change vegetables to grains.
