Listening to NPR a couple of days ago, I heard a phone report from one of their female journalists and as she ended her call, she sounded so grateful just to be speaking to someone state-side it almost broke my heart.
I think we take a lot for granted when we watch or listen to these men and women who are in every bit as much danger (if not more) as our military.
The stress of a deadline added to the stress of staying out of the line of fire must be enormous for them. So send some good thoughts their way too, please?
