Speaking of Media Bias (Pitbull Related)

I and many other in multiple threads on these boards have claimed that at least part of the reason for the Pitbulls bad reputation is due to media hype and frenzy. These two articles really bring home the point.

As a side note last night it had pitbull in it’s title not dog. It appears they have changed that but not the dogs breed in the story

A pit bull is set to be euthanized after attacking several students on a school bus Wednesday morning.

Second Article

24 Hour News 8 talked to that owner Wednesday night. He said he has owned the dog – mostly a Blue Heeler with a little bit of pit bull named Clifford – for five years since it was a pup.

The other thing I noticed was that in the first article everything was hyped up. You were left with the impression that if the bus driver hdn’t been there that bus would have been filled with massacared children. The second article made it seem much more of an unfourtunate incident then a crazy dog trying to murder children.
