Have there been any special interest groups that have instigated lesgislative action? Can anyone give me instances in American history when this happened? Thanks.
Special interest groups that are more negative than positive though that could be all subjective (like the American society’s view as negative like the Communist Party or the KKK or the likes). Nothing obvious and totally well-known please like the Woman’s Suffrage Movement or the NAACP or the Christian Coalition. Thanks again.
It happens all the time. Why do you think there are such people as lobbyists? They have powerful influence on legislatures at all levels. Talk to your local congressman’s legislative aide for more information about this, or do a web search.
