Done. I watched my grandmother gradually disappear over 10+ years, and seeing the look in my mother’s eyes as she realised that her mother no longer recognised her was truly saddening.
I don’t like Oprah, but her show does have a great influence. Since my mother died of Early-onset Alzheimer’s last year, I sent off a request as fast as I could type it.
That is a good suggestion. I’m mildly surprised she hasn’t done a show about this. Suggestion sent.
