Specific movie with malevolent dolls

I checked this list, and nothing looks familiar.

All I can remember is a scene in a darkened room. Several dolls are gathered, slowly advancing toward the protagonist(s). ISTR they looked like ‘normal’ dolls, except they had sharp teeth that they snapped by opening and closing their mouths. I’m pretty sure (but not entirely sure) the film predates Child’s Play. Could’ve been the late-'70s or early-'80s. Or not. I can’t remember exactly.

Might you be thinking of the scene in Barbarella in which our heroine meets the local children?
