I apologize if this is not the place for this topic, but I am desperate. I am making my own spice blends, and have been looking for a dry anti-dust agent. These spices are awesome, it’s just that you can’t sprinkle them and be in the same room without wearing a dust mask.
Any ideas, or ideas of message boards of where I might find the answer?

Spices (and herbs) are aromatics as well as flavouring agents. They are botanicals. By their very nature they are designed to be smelled in order to be enjoyed. I think your goals are at cross-purpose with the entire concept of using spices and herbs in cooking.
Are you taking dried spices and mixing them together? Or are you drying and grinding them yourself? I’m not sure if your problem is that they are ground too fine and thus floating around in the air, or if they are simply pungent, and you can smell them. Can you explain a little more?
Do you have any hints or secrets on how to help spice flow?
