We’re watching The Spirit Of St. Louis (1956). A scene shows builders of the aircraft signing the inside of the starboard cowl panel. Did they actually do this? If so, are there any photos? (The inside of the propeller spinner was signed, and it is on display.)
Thanks. I should have been more clear though. I was wondering if the people who built the aircraft signed the inside of the cowl panel, and if there are pictures of it.
