With Internet Explorer for Windows, hover the mouse cursor over anywhere in the black box region and triple-click, you’ll get all the text in the Spoiler box. With Internet Explorer for the Mac, hover the mouse cursor over anywhere in the black box region and quadruple-click, you’ll get all text in the Spoiler box.
And I personally think the colored text feature is WAY more annoyinger.
Oh yeah - I forgot if you’re using IE for Windows 5.01 or later, mouse over and CTRL+Click once will select everything, but on the latest IE Mac version, you still gotta mouse over and quadruple-click.
And on Preview, apparently I also forgot to read Ogre’s post above, in which he already said this. But I’m posting anyway and you can’t stop me! HAHAHAHA!!!
Another Opera user, who finds those spoiler boxes incredibly annoying. Mostly for those large posts, where switching to “user mode” (That Ctrl-G solution) takes several seconds to switch, and the spoilers end up a page or so away from where they were.
Of course, I’ve lately come to despise all those non-standard-HTML pages that are written specifically for a certain browser. They don’t do anything special that can’t be replicated in standard HTML, tends to take a lot longer to load up (And for someone on high-speed access, a page taking a long time to load up is really saying something; I feel sorry for anyone accessing those pages with a dial-up), and then doesn’t work right anyway. The spoiler boxes are just a minor annoyance, at least, there’s a work-around, not as bad as those places that love making other browsers break down…
