Assumptions:
1)People tend to root for the same teams as their parents.
2)People tend to be a part of the same political party as their parents.
I claim that a sports them being inherited is cultural only, it’s a visceral thing with no logic involved. When in comes to politics, a person that is of the same affiliation will be so because they were taught to value the same things as their parents and then they will choose the same party. They will not simply choose that political party because it’s the party of their parents.
Is that a meaningful distinction or not?
