Sports & Women = Erect Nipples--Why?

I was watching a tennis tournament the other day & to my stupefaction many (not all) of the female players had erect nipples once they started to fully exert themselves. Is there a biologoical reason for this? Is it the same bodily function that gives both sexe’s hard nipples when we get cold?

I’m hoping i took ALL precautionary measures as to not offend anyone regardless of one’s gender.

As a woman, I can say that nipples have a mind of their own. Mine do tend to become errect when I’m working out or hiking (or just sitting around doing nothing). The only explanation I can think of is that they may be reacting to endorphines produced from the physical activity? Or their sports bra chaffs in a stimulating way. :slight_smile:
