Spotting Star Trek actors in other programs

And: Sabrina Scharf = Miramanee

Also: John Abbott = Ayelborne/Errand of Mercy

I was yesterday years old when I realized that Eugene Cordero, the voice of Samanthan Rutherford on Lower Decks, plays Casey in Loki.

Just saw Leonard Nimoy in 1999 archival footage, talking about the anticipated Y2K computer glitch, in the pretty good recent documentary, Time Bomb Y2K.

Still another from Wild Wild West: Sharon Acker = Odona/Mark of Gideon

Same episode of WWW: Jay Robinson = Petri/Elaan of Troyius
And Richard Hale = Goro/Paradise Syndrome

Whit “Mr Lurry” Bissel as one of the “scientists” in Creature from the Black Lagoon. His voice is another of those you recognize instantly even if you’re not watching the screen when he’s on.

Also of note in this movie is Richard Denning (“Governor” on the original Hawaii Five-O), John Agar (Journey to the Seventh Planet and Zontar, the Thing from Venus), and Richard Carlson (perennial “Oh, that guy again!”).

Mr. Bissel worked twice with teenage monsters: he turned Michael Landon into a werewolf and sewed Gary “Land of the Giants” Conway’s tongue into his Frankenstein-ish head.

Nancy “Nona” Kovack and David “Anan 7” Opatoshu in 1967’s Enter Laughing.

I just saw Yvonne “Marta” Craig as a perky '60s housewife opposite Virginia “Mrs Olson” Christine in an old commercial for Folger’s coffee. (“It’s MOUNTAIN grown!”)

Yet, more Star Trek on Wild Wild West:

Barry “Janos Skorzeny” Atwater = Surak/Savage Curtain
Tom Troupe = Lt. Harold/Arena

Hopefully, the end of the list:

Emily Banks = Tonia Barrows/Shore Leave
Judi Sherven = Nurse/Wolf in the Fold
Byron Morrow = Admiral Komack/Amok Time; Admiral Westervliet/World Is Hollow…
Maryesther Denver = Third Witch/Catspaw
Patrick Horgan = Eneg/Patterns of Force
Tim Burns = Russ/Doomsday Machine
Bill Zuckert = Johnny Behan/Spectre of the Gun

There may still be others, but I’m calling it a day.

Jennifer “Miss Kyle” Edwards, Phillip “Col Green” Pine, and William “Thelev” O’Connell in the Jerry Lewis vehicle Hook, Line, and Sinker (1969).

Aside from Scatman Crothers playing a corpse, the most interesting thing about this movie is the main set from Bewitched serving as Lewis’s home, in all its garish period color.

John Hoyt (“Dr Boyce”) as a bad guy with a “Swedish” accent in 1955’s The Big Combo.

Whit Bissel (“Mr Lurry”) apparently played a doctor in this movie, but his scenes ended up on the cutting room floor. :frowning:

The Andromeda Strain (1971) has Kermit Murdock, who was the Prosecutor in, “All Our Yesterdays.”

In a recent *Carol Burnett rerun, the role of a priest in one of the sketches was played by an uncredited Byron Morrow, who played admirals in “Amok Time” and “For the World Is Hollow.” Often in old variety shows there would be a voiceover during the closing credits identifying some bit actors, but not this one.

*Vincent Price was a guest star, but he was several, so I haven’t narrowed down which one yet.

Whit Bissell (“Mr Lurry”) as an “accidental murderer” in 1948’s Raw Deal. (He didn’t mean it, really!)

Keye Luke (“Governor Cory”) as “Tal Shan” in the 1946 serial Lost City of the Jungle. (He’s one of the “good” Asians.)

Just saw William Windom appear as a department store magnate in the 1994 remake of Miracle on 34th Street.

Liam “Parmen” Sullivan as “Tennyson” in the Twilight Zone episode “The Silence.”

Jonathan Harris (“Dr Smith” in Lost in Space) is in this episode too.

Harry “Reger” Townes as “Hank Richie the DA” in the Twilight Zone episode “Shadow Play.”

Walter Koenig (Ensign Chekov) as a GI in the first-season episode of Combat! “The Prisoner.”
