Can anyone help with a little problem?
I have run several anti-spyware programs, including this recommended Microsoft Anitspyware. Every time it picks up the browser hijack program and deletes it. I start the browser up again and it works fine, until I close it. If I then open it a second time, the hijack programme is back (regardless of what site I did or didn’t visit in between). The computer is running Windows XP Professional.
The browser hi-jack then links (from any of it’s multiple pop-ups, all strangely talking about spyware) to the following page:
http://vv2.s13.tempx.cc/gdoz.php?pin=278&index_id=236&qq=spyware+removal&
The page itself looks reasonably sensible, but the brower will then disallow a visit to any other site and the pop-ups will continue to appear. That’s all I really know about it.
Anyone come across this particular pain, and know how to remove it completely?
