He had a bunch of wires that he didn’t know how to connect. He was surfing on line and reading the book and staring confusedly at the wires, hoping they’d pipe up and say, “I go in here!”
I suggested he take the case off our current computer and see if he could see where those wires are connected. He allowed as that was a feasible idea, and had our son disconnect the box and bring it over to the kitchen table. He was able to figure out two of the loose connections.
