I read about the heir to the Busch brewing fortune having had a female guest die at his mansion recently (possible overdose, according to the article I read) and then I read a little bit more about him and his colorful past, namely that August Busch IV has had a few other situations in his past that ended up with other of his companions dead, but that he has never been held legally responsible for any of those incidents.
Is he just in the wrong place at the wrong time a lot, or does he just have a great legal defense team that had gotten him off of charges that an ordinary person would be sunk under?
What does the local St. Louis press have to say about him?
Is he viewed as a spoiled, reckless playboy that has gotten away with murder, or do most feel he is being singled out for unfair publicity because of jealousy and resentment on the part of law enforcement and/or the public at large?
(the original story that I read said something about another death where Busch was present, and mentioned that it was also “covered-up” because of family influence. Maybe there are certain people out there who want to believe the worst about August Busch IV, even if the facts don’t support their claims)
Somebody asked that question in the comments of one of the news stories. The response was that art therapy counselling is what it sounds like: getting crazy (or maybe just stressed out) people to do art activities for therapeutic purposes.
Easier to just Google it, though, rather than ask it on a message board or comments section of a news article.
Unless… maybe you got me to post my half-ass explanation for therapeutic purposes? Maybe you’re a message board therapy counsellor? Do I owe you money now?
I didn’t realize he was divorced. I know someone who worked his wedding reception in Vermont. About an hour after the wedding, the couple got into an argument, and he told his wife she was a 'stupid f’ing (c-word)." They both stormed off, and my friend made eye contact with one of Busch’s buddies, who looked back and said something like, “He calls her that all the time.”
I was under the impression Auggie got married so he could take over as president/CEO in 2006. He got married a couple months before he took over - he succeeded a non-family member just a few shorts months after he got married when he was like 42 and they divorced like 2 years later. But this is all just stuff I have been hearing because of course everyone around here is all abuzz.
Does anyone know if he was actually present or even somehow involved in another death (this is a totally different situation from the the automobile accident death in Arizona) that supposedly happened sometime back in the early 1990’s?
Apparently (according to the little random blurb that I read, which I can now no longer find) it was a drug and/or alcohol-fueled domestic violence situation that resulted in a fatal shooting that Busch was eventually cleared of.
