I’ve got a friend who believes that the science depicted in “Star Trek” is mostly good.
I disagree, and I’d love to prove it.

You might want to arm yourself with “The Physics of Star Trek” by Lawrence M. Krauss. It goes over the various sciences of ST and discusses which are possible, which are not, and why.
A must read if you have a friend who’s trying to build a transporter in his garage and needs a little “reality check.”
