I actually posted a thread about backing Video Game Kickstarters inspired by this game because it looks pretty cool.

Has anyone ever backed a video game on Kickstarter?

I have backed several Board and card games on Kickstarter but never anything else. I saw a video about the video game Starship Simulator and it looks like something I would love and it is currently crowd funding on Kickstarter and I am thinking of backing. I was curious if anyone has had either good or bad experiences funding a video game. Have you been burned or did it work out fine? Also the game looks really great, kind of what I wanted No Man’s Sky to be.
