Can you provide a cite for Hillary mentioning it at all, let alone first?
Also, enlighten us as to why Obama would possibly want this nonsense to continue.

The South should be allowed to secede. Forced to, even.
Oily Taint? What the hell is that?!?
Sounds like something you’d see on a dirty rag.
Eh, I don’t think this really reflects on Georgia. Taitz seems to be driving these lawsuits (she’s filed in several other States), and she’s from the USSR originally and a resident of CA now. As others have said, the judges actions in Georgia a) seem to be due to Obama needing a better lawyer in the states and b) won’t go anywhere anyways.
You can be embarrassed for giving the country Newt Gingrich though.
So do we know whose funding this? So far as I can tell, she’s been filing nuisances suits against the Prez like this since 2008, and racked up several tens of thousands of dollars in fines for doing the same. It seems unlikely she’s doing it all out of pocket.
You think some toenail clippings would be enough?
And here I thought Republicans couldn’t do anything dumber than nominating Newt Gingrich.
Moving from IMHO to Elections.
He didn’t provide it all, because there were too many people asking to give it to all of them, and given that they’re all crazy, one of them would probably have ripped it all up. He did do the next best thing, though, by putting his birth certificate on his website immediately.
Heh. You just know they would have, too. ![]()
How does this attorney still have a law license? Filing frivolous complaints is a violation of legal ethics.
Also, has any court ruled conclusively that Obama is a natural born citizen? If so, then res judicata should apply and every one of these suits should be dismissed with harsh penalties for anyone filing them.
He could send his right hand, with the middle finger extended.
I’m fairly sure that Taitz’s eventual plan is to be allowed to examine Obama’s birth certificate in person, then quickly stuff it in her mouth and eat it.
Something left on bed sheets after unspecified sexual acts?
What amazes me is that she (the lawyer) is a naturalized citizen. I would not expect this demand to come from someone who is foriegn-born.
BTW, Orly isn’t that unusual a name, depending on where you are from, of course. It’s origin is Hebrew. But it is also a nickname for Oreland, a Nordic name.
Not precisely the question you asked, but I’m fairly sure that the Conference of the Supreme Court determined that O.T.;s cert. petitions were “frivolouis” (in the legal sense), and hence would not be heard.
I cannot locate the cite at present, but it sticks with me that this happened because Clarence Thomas was unfairly criticized for his role in it. One justice – IIRC Ginsberg, but I’m not certain of this – received a petition to grant cert. from Orly & Co., accompanied with a request for a preliminary injunction barring further lower court action (which would be a ruling against her) until SCOTUS granted cert. This was denied. So she proceeded to send the same paperwork to Thomas. Following an interior rule of SCOTUS when a cert. petitioner is “justice shopping” – trying to get one of the nine to act in the way he/she wants – he properly brought the matter up in conference, which decided to deem such suits frivolous and unwarranted. The effect of this is to bar Orly and her proteges from bringing the case to SCOTUS again.
Now in my personal opinion that would constitute precedent which other courts should follow when faced with Birther cases. But I admit I don’t know procedure here well enough to say that as a legal assertion.
Possibly. It’s a big country after all.
The difference is that Democrats would agree that those nutters were indeed nuts. There would be no need for McCain to release his long form birth certificate. The Dems marginalized their crazies during the 1970s and 1980s. Republicans did the opposite: they branded their moderates as RINOs and ran them out of office.
ETA: If it makes you feel any better Orly Taitz hails from southern California.
And is from Moldova, so the other Georgia can feel okay as well.
